Loving the forest

Reynaldo is one of five films that won an award at the ForesteInternational Short Film Festival. The film tells the story of Reynaldo Ochoa, a source of inspiration for the people of the Amazon rainforest in Peru Manu. For more than 20 years,he has encouraged farmers to plant trees with their crops, allowing families to grow fresh organic produce to forge a better future sustainable - both to protect the environment and allowing local livelihoods to thrive.

Dan Childs and Nick Werber are the two filmmakers who have been awarded the UNFF10 prize in Istanbul, Turkey on the 10thApril 2013. The film also won Best Short Film in 2013 at the British Film Festival.
